Contents Page Draft

This is my contents page draft, I took influence from several NME magazines, and wanted my images scattered around the page. However, as I was rushing it, I didn't make it very professional or realistic. I kept some of the same in my final contents page, such as the way '6 STRINGS' is written, although I did change the 'INSIDE OF' on my final contents page, to make it black so the name of the magazine stood out more.

These NME double page spreads are ones I've found and really liked. The top left one caught my eye because of the title quote. "People think I'm an attention seeker, but I'm just honest" is quite a controversial sentence, and therefore it works really well with the white messy writing which each letter is different in a word, and stands in front of dark black outlines.

These are my contents page influences because they are from the same music genre as my music magazine is. On my front cover, I used a lot of influences from an NME cover, and therefore tried to find some NME contents pages that fitted with my colour scheme, however I found a few Q contents pages that I liked too.

Reflection Of Evaluation Grade

For the evaluation of my research, planning and front page construction, I got 66% which is a Grade C.
For planning I got 12 out of 20, and in construction I got 41 out of 60. I got mainly proficient for my evaluation, with some basic and some excellent aspects too.

To maybe get a higher grade, I need to post other images I took of what could have been on my front cover. I will do this, and put them below my reflection post somewhere. In addition to this, I could also go through some of my 'basic' evaluation grades and add more detail. For example, I could take more images of things such as locations and props.
